I was excited to try this salad as I love Urban Remedy, but got so disappointed as it was so sweet that I almost got sick in my stomach. If I wanted a dessert I would order desert. I picked up the salad to eat light dinner and it was not a good choice. Even though I love dates, when I eat salad I am expecting savory dish not dessert like. Really bad! And not healthy either when you have sugar when you don’t want to. The same happened with Mediterranean Salad the other day, when I found raisins in it. What??? do we need to have sweeteners in every savory dish? Totally unnecessary, but that’s me.
Finding healthy vegan food is not easy in the Bay area. Urban Remedy was one of my first choices when I don’t have time to cook. But, I’m quite disappointed now.
Absolutely delicious and freshest ingredients! Can’t believe the dressing and ball of cheese are vegan! YUM
Just finishing day 3 of the metta morphosis plan and was a little over all the veggies, but then I took my first bite of this salad … and the skies opened. Aaaaaaaahhhhhhh. SO so good. Love the vegan cheese and addition of nuts; and the dressing is to die for. I was hoping I could buy the dressing and vegan cheese online. Maybe something to consider for those of us not fortunate enough to live near an Urban Remedy store.
