Yoga Poses for Your New Year’s Figure

By Rebecca

At Urban Remedy we know that this new year you want to look and feel your best. Celebrate a renewed commitment to yourself with some easy to do yoga moves. Here is a list of our three favorite yoga poses to keep your energy up, your nutrition high, and your waist trim!

Eagle Pose:

Bending your legs and balancing on one foot, wrap your other leg around your stable leg, hooking your foot behind your calf. Then cross one arm over the other and wrap until both palms touch. Hold, then switch sides. This wrapping and balancing pose aids digestion, keeping your waist slender and your look fabulous!

Bow Pose:

Lying on your stomach, reach around and grab each leg in hand. Gently push against your hands with your legs and lift your body like a bow off the ground. A few minutes in this pose massages and stretches your stomach muscles and boosts your energy, making you a sharp shooter.

Spinal Twist:

Lie on your back with your arms stretched out in a T-shape. Keeping your arms in place, cross one leg over the other. Hold, then switch sides. This twist massages your organs and glands, increasing circulation and digestion, improving nutrition for a quick little slimming trick!
