Skin that Can Weather Any Storm

By Rebecca

Happy skin? Happy life! While cleansers and creams are definitely essential skincare components, eating the right foods keeps you glowing from the inside out all winter long. Test out adding these four ingredients to your meal plan for simply radiant skin.

Turmeric:

Used in both Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine as an anti-inflammatory to treat digestive and liver problems, turmeric also boosts skin nutrition. Thirsty? Boost your glow with a juice.

Carrots: Yes, they are good for your eyes, but did you also know that carrots are packed with nutrition and great for your skin? Try a raw handful as a crunchy afternoon snack, or drink them down in an Urban Remedy Beam juice full of carrots and Jewel Yams, another skin-healthy treat!

Cucumbers: Purify your skin with the fresh taste of cucumber. Slice some cucumbers into your salad and feel the effects… on your face! At Urban Remedy we use cucumber in all of our juice cleanses, so drink up for skin that just won’t quit!

This season, eat right and that dry, chapped, winter skin will never see the light of day! Stay skin-happy through a meal plan full of nutrition!
