Perhaps garlic isn’t what comes to mind for Valentine’s Day… but it should.
Garlic is known to be the third most powerful aphrodisiac in the world.
This is due to its noticeable warming effect on the body, creating a feeling of comfort and desire! Perfect for a romantic meal for two or for a chilly night in February watching rom coms while practicing your favorite yoga pose.
Meanwhile, comforting noodles are usually on the no-no list for your meal plan because they are composed of flour and water. Just like bread and other heavy carbs, noodles saturate our gut and create a “digestive roadblock” while offering very little to our body.
The nutritional density of most noodles is best summed up as: high calorie, low benefit.
This recipe offers a great alternative to the typical noodle dilemma. Raw zucchini noodles give you the pleasure of eating “noodles” that are loaded with nutrients and will benefit your body in ways those conventional noodles just can’t come close to offering.
