Overall a good cleansing soup. It could use A LOT more mushrooms and maybe a bit more attention to removing the giant pieces of basically hard ginger skin (2 inches, that’s a big hunk of ginger skin).

Love it for being vegan and chock full of veggies, but it’s slightly bland on its own. I added sriracha and hoisin, just like I would do with “regular” pho, and it tasted awesome! I also threw in some tofu for protein. Will definitely buy it again (for the third time)! I appreciate this because there’s no way I can make this at home…

Eating this soup as I write this review. I’m on the first day of the metabolism boost and I’ve been so unexpectedly pleased with everything so far until this soup. I can’t pinpoint the flavor in the broth but it’s not good. I’m trying to force as much as I can down since this is my last actual meal of the day. Hopefully this recipe gets reworked someday soon!

Perfect soup for when you have a cold. Flavorful and soothing, and the spice level is just right to clear your head. All the reviews saying it’s too spicy must be from people who are only used to bland food.

Thank you, you made my first experience eating Pho an amazing one! I added a little Cholula, crushed red peppers, black pepper and fresh Thai basil and it was perfect!
Had it as a part of the 3-day metabolism kit. Unlike the other meals and snacks, all of which were delicious, this one was AWFUL. Just AWFUL.

Loved! This was so much cleaner than all the regular Pho soups I’ve had. I loved the spicy and the different taste. Still tasted like Pho, just fresh and uber healthy. I wish I could purchase this Pho individually.
I think this should be branded differently because I couldn’t shake the expectation that it would taste like pho. It’s interesting but the broth tasted more like lemon water with a splash of vinegar. Definitely not a favorite and I probably won’t try it again.

Way too much ginger. Like eating shredded veggies in a ginger water broth. I had to add lime and Tamari in an effort to make it better but the broth was still too spicy and gingery to eat. Ended up just forking our the shredded veggies and eating those
Absolutely delicious, and not spicy at all. Zucchini and other veggie noodles added lots of contrast to the fresh mushrooms. Broth was very flavorful, and didn’t need additional salt.
Really liked it – but it as other reviewers have mentioned – it was really really spicy. I could not finish the soup because of the coughing fit from the heat of the jalapeño.
I really like spicy food, bu the jalapeno in this batch was unbearable.
Delicious and satiating! Fed two of us and feeling cozy and full. Yum
