This salad was a wonderful combination of taste and texture. The pickled sweet onion is a great addition to the salad and pea shoots are great. You really do need to eat this the day it arrives or soon after for freshness.

This one just wasn’t my thing. I am ALL about pickles/fermented things and so this sounded right up my alley but today I learned something can be TOO sour. It was just an overwhelming amount of vinegar and one was one-note sour. The dressing wasn’t really creamy, it was more tart & green tasting, and that along with the grassy pea shoots + pickled onions + radishes created a way too tart salad that I wished was more balanced.
