I recently grabbed this when I saw it at my local Whole Foods. I followed the instructions and cooked it in the oven. I was extremely pleased with the flavor. I thought it was the perfect serving for one person for dinner (I eat mostly plant-based so I tend to eat large dinner portions). I put a little cold Greek yogurt on the side. I savored every last bite. I just bought my second one and look forward to having it tonight. I would agree that the packaging needs work, but I didn’t have the experience of the previous reviewer at all. I just found it somewhat difficult to open to ensure all plastic was removed before going in the oven. I am very hopeful that this dish is the start of more hot dinner options from Urban Remedy!

The flavors are fine, but the packaging is terrible. I hate that they are encased in plastic all around (top and bottom), and when you heat the plates (either in the microwave or oven), the plastic melts & smells a lot. And when you take off the plastic lid to eat, it’s still melty and sticky and so it sticks to your hands. YUCK. I don’t want a side of plastic with my hot meal. Even if we were to take the food out into another container to heat, there’s no guarantee that they don’t put hot food in these plastic lined plates before they seal them.

I love this dish. Healthy, flavorful, and easy to heat up! Just what this mam needs.
